I was watching An Unexpected Journey on our 4K tv and the dated/poor CGI really showed in a handful of scenes and it bummed me out in a way I'd never experienced before. What I find somewhat sad is that LOTRs CGI has held up way better than the Hobbit trilogies CGI.

I do notice when the Hobbits transition from the size stand-ins to the Hobbit actors since I feel it's more obvious now with the larger tvs and better resolution, but again, small potatoes in the grand scheme. As a whole, I have zero complaints about what I do notice since it's still pretty minimal. I now notice some things thay I didn't before watching it on our old TV, but that's bound to happen eventually when watching an older movie that's been remastered for 4k.
